Restylane Lyft® with Lidocaine
Restylane Lyft® with Lidocaine is FDA approved now for:
- Augmentation and rejuvenation of the cheek also known as the midface area.
- It was also indicated for use in the nasolabial folds (smile lines).
Why it is used:
As we age we lose volume in our face which results in loss of cheek volume, more wrinkles and loose skin. Restylane Lyft® to the cheek can help correct that midface volume loss giving a smooth natural look. Restylane Lyft® can also be injected to the wrinkles or laugh lines to correct the dreaded aged appearance of the ‘parentheses’.
Restylane Lyft® was previously labelled Perlane® but was changed by Galderma to reflect the Restylane family to which it belongs. Galderma produces Restylane Lyft®, Restylane Silk® and Restylane® which are all hyaluronic acid products of differing particulate size designed for specific applications. Galderma also produces Dysport® and Sculptra® Aesthetics.
Restylane Silk® with Lidocaine
Restylane Silk® like all Restylane products is a transparent hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is naturally found in our tissues. Restylane Silk® is the only FDA approved product for lip enhancement and the smoothing of fine wrinkles around the mouth.
Why it is used:
Restylane Silk® is a unique product of small particulate size designed to precisely shape the lip line resulting is silkier, smoother and fuller lips. As well it is designed to treat the thin vertical lines (wrinkles) around the mouth.
Restylane® with Lidocaine
Restylane with Lidocaine is used to treat moderate to severe wrinkles and to enhance the appearance of the lips. It is an HA product whose particulate size is smaller than Lyft but larger than Silk. Restylane is used for the laugh lines, lip lines and corner of the mouth.
